Day 7.
Wrapping it up. Now need a bit of distance to be able to sift through the travel anecdotes that remain relevant and are told again and again and the ones that are better forgotten (and there are some seguro). But the whole point of this week-long blogging exercise was to try to capture the immediacy and rawness of the experience, which has always been difficult for me. Feel succeeded somewhat.
On the music front, already have quite a few sound samples from the past two days. Will be collecting a few more today. These will be posted on this blog later in the week after have had a chance to edit the noise from the signal. Who knows, maybe some might even become treasured bootlegs to fans out there who don’t mind the low-fi nature of the recordings.
